Terms of service

These are the terms for using StoreStudio: this website, the Studio screenshot editor and Listing. They are short because the product is simple. It runs in your browser, your work stays on your device, and paying unlocks features. If anything here is unclear, write to[email protected].

What StoreStudio is

Studio is an editor for App Store screenshots. Listing is a set of tools for researching and drafting an app's store page; it is in beta. Both run in your browser. There are no accounts: the free features work without signing up, and a purchase is tied to a license key rather than a login.

Plans and what each one includes

  • Free: one screenshot project with up to 5 slides, the Starter pack and the core fonts, one language and one export size, at full resolution with no watermark. It has no time limit.
  • Pro: everything in Studio. Unlimited projects and slides, every template pack, the full font library and your own fonts, every language and every export size. Pro does not include Listing.
  • Suite: everything in Pro, plus Listing.
  • Launch Pass: everything in Suite for 90 days from the day you buy it, for one payment. It does not renew. When it ends, your plan returns to Free.
  • Lifetime license: Pro, with nothing to renew. It does not include Listing.

To put it plainly: Listing comes with Suite or a Launch Pass. Pro and the lifetime license unlock the Studio editor only. Thepricing page lists the current limits and prices.

What lifetime means

Lifetime means the life of the product. For as long as we offer the Studio editor, the license unlocks its Pro features, with nothing to renew and nothing more to pay for them. It is not a promise that the product will exist forever. It does not cover Listing, and features we add later that run as online services may be sold separately. The offer is limited to 200 licenses. Once they are gone, checkout closes; if a payment slips through after that, it is refunded in full and no license is issued.

Your license

A purchase gives you a personal license to use the paid features for the plan's period. Use it on any number of your own devices. Do not share your license key or recovery secret, sell them, or use one license to serve several people. The billing panel lets you download your recovery details; keep them safe, because they are what restores paid features on another device. If you lose them, write to support from the email you paid with.

Your work

Everything you create with StoreStudio belongs to you: projects, screenshots, exported images, drafts. Use it however you like, including in your App Store listings and marketing. The template packs and fonts are licensed for making your own images inside StoreStudio; do not extract and redistribute them as packs or font files. The fonts are open-source fonts under their own licenses, which allow this use.

Acceptable use

Use StoreStudio lawfully, for your own apps and marketing. Do not try to get around the free plan's limits or the license checks, and do not probe or overload our service. Listing is deliberately gentle with Apple's services; do not modify or automate it to be otherwise. What you submit to Apple is your responsibility; do not use these tools to build listings that mislead people or break Apple's guidelines.

Apple, submissions and outcomes

StoreStudio helps you make screenshots and draft a store page. Apple decides what it accepts. We do not promise that a screenshot set or a listing will pass App Review, rank for a phrase or earn downloads, and nothing in the app should be read as such a promise. Apple's requirements change; check them before you submit. StoreStudio is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.

Listing data

Listing shows what Apple's public sources return: App Store search, app listings, customer reviews and the top charts. Every figure carries its source and the time it was checked. A position is the order Apple returned at that moment, for the country you chose. It is an approximation of what a person sees and can differ from the App Store on a phone. There is no search volume, no download data and no prediction, because Apple does not publish them. When a check fails, the app says so and shows the last saved result. Treat all of it as a guide for your own judgement, never as a guarantee. Listing is in beta: its features can change, and daily checks and the weekly email depend on our service being available.

Payments, renewals and cancellation

Prices are in US dollars. Checkout, invoices, tax and the billing portal are handled by Stripe, which shows the final amount, including any tax, before you confirm. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel from the billing portal in the app; your access runs to the end of the period you paid for. Moving from Pro to Suite applies right away and charges only the difference; moving down takes effect at the end of the current period. The Launch Pass and the lifetime license are single payments and never renew. Refunds follow therefund policy: a first purchase of any product can be refunded within 14 days, no questions asked.

When paid features stop

When a subscription ends, a Launch Pass runs out or a purchase is refunded, the paid features switch off and your plan returns to Free. Nothing you made is deleted: your projects and images are on your device, and you can keep exporting within the free plan's limits. Daily-check results on our service are deleted after 90 days. Your check settings remain until you delete it from the app.

Your data and backups

Your projects, images and drafts are stored by your browser on your device, and only there. That keeps them private, and it also means we cannot recover them: if you clear the browser's data for this site, they are gone. The app can download a backup at any time; do that before clearing data or moving to another device. What we do keep, and why, is in theprivacy policy.

No warranty

StoreStudio is provided as it is. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise it will be free of errors or always available, and we do not promise any outcome from using it. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from StoreStudio is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost sales, a rejected submission or lost data that existed only on your device. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop using StoreStudio at any time; cancel any subscription from the billing portal. If you break these terms in a way that harms other users, our service or Apple's, we can end your license.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Mexico, and disputes are settled in its courts. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law where you live.
