The best AppLaunchpad alternatives
AppLaunchpad is a good tool, and at $96 a year for both stores it's hard to undercut. Below is who should stay, and what each alternative does better.
Stay with AppLaunchpad if your app is also on Google Play, you want a very large template library, you want AI to translate your captions, or you manage many projects.

StoreStudio
StoreStudio makes App Store screenshots, not Google Play, so it only replaces AppLaunchpad for an app that isn’t on Android. Pro (the full editor) is $79 a year against $96, a small difference. It has 7 template packs, where AppLaunchpad has more than 1,000 templates. The set below uses the Starter pack, which is part of the free plan.

Start with this free Starter set in the editor → No account or watermark; Free exports five slides in one size.
Before you export, it checks every slide for a missing screenshot, text that’s too small or too low in contrast, a headline that runs long in another language, and a font that can’t display Japanese. Suite (Pro plus Listing) is $119 a year and adds Listing, which shows where your app ranks for a search and helps you draft the subtitle and keywords. Captions come in 18 languages, but you write or import them. Nothing is translated for you.
AppScreens
AppScreens uploads a finished set to App Store Connect and Google Play, including custom product pages. It also writes captions with AI and localizes into 80+ locales on Pro. Pro is $99 a year.
It has more than 150 templates, fewer than AppLaunchpad. Scale, at $180 a year, adds a license for client work and unlimited projects.
AppMockUp
AppMockUp is free, needs no account, and makes App Store and Google Play screenshots. AppLaunchpad’s free plan limits exports, and AppMockUp lists no limit. Its site doesn’t mention translated captions, which AppLaunchpad Pro includes.
Previewed
Previewed makes 3D device renders and animated MP4 promo videos, for iOS and Android. Plus is $9.99 once for 10 exports with 3D and video. Pro is $228 a year, more than twice AppLaunchpad Pro, and the free plan exports at 720p, below App Store size.
Figma
A free Figma Starter plan and a community template give you full control over the design. AppLaunchpad resizes one design to every iOS and Android size. In Figma, you size, frame and export each one yourself.
Common questions
