StoreStudio

StoreStudio Pro (the full editor) is $79 a year, against $99 for AppScreens Pro. Suite (Pro plus Listing) is $119 a year and adds Listing, which shows where your app ranks for a search and helps you draft the subtitle and keywords. The set below uses the Starter pack, which is part of the free plan.

Start with this free Starter set in the editor → No account or watermark; Free exports five slides in one size.

If you have not planned your captions yet, map five real app screens to five benefits in the free screenshot planner before choosing an editor. You can carry the first headline into a StoreStudio Starter project. The plan works regardless of which design tool you use.

Before you export, it checks every slide for a missing screenshot, low contrast, a headline that runs long in another language, and a font that can’t display Japanese. It makes App Store screenshots, not Google Play. It doesn’t write or translate captions, make landscape sets or upload to App Store Connect, and its license covers your own apps, not client work. AppScreens Pro does those jobs and supports 80+ locales. Its free plan can also export a five-screen set in essential iOS and Android sizes; Pro-only previews carry a watermark.

AppLaunchpad

AppLaunchpad makes App Store and Google Play screenshots from one design. Pro is $96 a year, a little under AppScreens Pro, and includes more than 1,000 templates and AI translation.

Its pricing page doesn’t list direct upload to the stores. If that’s the part of AppScreens you use most, AppLaunchpad won’t replace it.

Previewed

Previewed makes 3D device renders and animated MP4 promo videos as well as flat screenshots, for iOS and Android. Plus is $9.99 once for 10 exports with 3D and video. Pro is $228 a year for unlimited exports.

The free plan exports at 720p, which is below App Store size, and asks for an attribution credit. It suits a hero image or a promo clip more than a full set in many languages.

AppMockUp

AppMockUp is free, needs no account, and makes App Store and Google Play screenshots. It has templates, panoramic backgrounds and a store preview. Its site doesn’t mention translated captions or uploading to the stores.

Figma

A free Figma Starter plan and a community template give you full control over every slide, for both stores and any device. The cost is time: you size, frame and export every language yourself, then upload the files by hand.
