Understand Apple’s requirements
Apple requires a 6.5-inch set when 6.9-inch screenshots are absent, and a 13-inch set for apps that run on iPad. It can scale screenshots down when the interface is the same across displays. Apple’s upload instructions explain how to manage these sets.
Check your exported files
Use PNG or JPEG, without transparency or an alpha channel. Provide one to ten screenshots for each size and language set. Show your app’s current interface and replace placeholder content before submission.
Use the screenshot size validator to check dimensions and file format. It runs in your browser and flags common PNG alpha channels. A passing result does not check screenshot content or guarantee App Review approval.
Export from Studio
Free includes full-resolution export at the default size. Pro adds all supported export sizes and multiple languages, organized into folders in a ZIP file.
